As musical director of this piece, I led my fellow actors through a series of vocal explorations based mostly on interpolations and harmonies around Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody. While some actors had vocal training, others had less experience. Vocal warm-ups were heavily emphasized as well as proper vocal technique and breathing. Beyond basic pitch awareness, the group was more focused on rounds, syncopation, and rhythm awareness.
